Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned the big 2-6 on September 3. I wanted it to be low-key, so we celebrated with some doughnuts and cupcakes at play group in the morning, and then an awesome friend volunteered to watch Madeline so Joe and I could have a nice dinner together. We figured we better not pass on that opportunity, knowing that we might not get another night alone for awhile after the baby was born. Joe took me to a nice little restaurant right on the water and it was great to be able to just have some adult conversation with him and spend quality time together before Amelia arrived.
